| dc.description.abstract | With a high regionalism,Chiriquí is a province with an importanteconomic value for the Republic of Panama; it has great natural resourcesand valuable opportunities to develop the agricultural,logistical and commercial sector. The peoplefrom Chiriquí must overcome severalgaps and obstacles. It is urgent to harness and build new contexttoget social developmentandeconomicgrowth. It is necessary to establishalternatives withstrategies in orderto: make a better use of foreign investment, begina digital economy, take advantages of thecurrent logistical capacity,strengthen ecological tourism and make the agricultural sector more efficient.The paths to get a better province have already been established elsewhere. | dc.description.abstract | De arraigado regionalismo, Chiriquí es una provincia con alto valor económico para la República de Panamá; cuenta con recursos naturales de gran valía y oportunidades de desarrollo en el sector agropecuario, logístico y comercial.Aunque existen carencias y obstáculos de diversa índole que los habitantes de Chiriquí deben superar, es apremiante que a manera de aprovechar y construir nuevos espacios para el desarrollo y crecimiento de la provincia se vislumbren alternativas con estrategias capaces de: dar un mejor uso a la inversión extranjera, incursionar en una economía digital, explotar la capacidad logística actual, afianzar el turismo ecológico y hacer más eficiente el sector agropecuario. Los derroteros para el logro de una mejor provincia, ya han sido establecidos en otras latitudes; en Chiriquí existe el talento humano y la capacidad de hacer frente a nuevos retos y salir airosos de ellos. | |
