| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to implement the International Humanitarian Law. In order to improve the curricular design by competences, within the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of UNACHI. A representative sample of IV year students was collected, from the three school periods, of said faculty; Similarly, interviews were conducted with professionals with knowledge of International Humanitarian Law. The information was collected through the mixed approach since the two research paradigms are integrated: on the one hand, the qualitative approach which describes situations and, on the other hand, the quantitative facts, since it collects information through statistical data. The investigation revealed that the strengthening of legal education is necessary. At the same time, it demonstrates that International Humanitarian Law must be implemented to improve the curricular design by competences within the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma de Chiriqui (Autonomous University of Chiriquí). It is recommended to train updated professionals in International Humanitarian Law, with knowledge of the legal norms of this right, with the capacity to act in a situation that involves IHL and with the ability to work within this branch of law. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo la implementación del Derecho Internacional Humanitario. Para así mejorar el diseño curricular por competencias, dentro de la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Políticas de la UNACHI. Se recopiló una muestra representativa de estudiantes de IV año, de las tres jornadas, de dicha facultad; de igual manera se realizaron entrevistas a profesionales con conocimiento de Derecho Internacional Humanitario. La información fue recabada a través del enfoque mixto ya que se integran los dos paradigmas de la investigación: cualitativa la cual describe hechos situaciones y cuantitativa ya que recoge información a través de datos estadísticos. La investigación reveló que es necesario el fortalecimiento de la educación jurídica. A su vez demuestra que el Derecho Internacional Humanitario debe ser implementado para mejorar el diseño curricular por competencias dentro de la Facultad De Derecho y Ciencias Políticas de la Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí. Se recomienda formar profesionales actualizados en Derecho Internacional Humanitario, con conocimiento de las normas jurídicas de este derecho, con la capacidad de actuar ante una situación que lo involucra y con la habilidad de laborar dentro de esta rama del derecho. | |
