dc.description.abstractThe research called, Interaction in social networks and oral and written communication of students and teachers of the Unachi School of Tourism, consists of analyzing the interaction and participation in social networks and written communication of the students and teachers of the School of Tourism of Unachi. the Autonomous University of Chiriquí (UNACHI). It is oriented under a quantitative approach, with a descriptive and explanatory scope. Regarding the design, it is non-experimental, transversal, considering that the data will be collected at a single moment. The type of sample was simple random; after calculating the sampling formula, which resulted in: 71 students, from first to fourth year, of the bachelor’s degree in Tourism; The questionnaire was applied to them. For the purpose of the second instrument, 9 teachers were questioned. The study concludes that 76% of students and 100% of teachers always and almost always promote academic knowledge using digital platforms in their courses. However, a slight percentage difference is noted in the students' responses, because 20% estimate that this interaction with teachers sometimes occurs, while 4% believe that this communication almost never occurs.es_ES
