dc.description.abstractSocial networks are used very frequently, and they may become addictive; also, students are vulnerable to suffer a dependency to this type of interaction because at this time, they are forming their own personality and they are susceptible to the influence of other people, which may have serious consequences in their life. Besides that, we must take into consideration that the excessive use of the social networks will have consequences in their school, family and social life. For this reason, in this investigation, we indicate some strategies in a “PROPOSAL FOR INTERVENTION ORIENTED TOWARDS THE ADEQUATE USE OF THE SOCIAL NETWORKS”. It is necessary that parents know about the symptoms and consequences of this addiction so that they may detect if their son or daughter may have some problems with the use of social networks or if they are showing any manifestations of this problem. The objective of this investigation is to establish the level of addiction and the consequences due to the use of the social networks in the eighth-grade students of San Félix Educational Center. This study is focused on five aspects; each one is derived from the objectives of the investigation. Firstly, we wanted to establish and explain the level of addiction of the students and the consequences of that addiction. After that, we measured the level of the family and social disruptions that the students are living. Also, the study allowed us to determine up to what point the students use the social networks. And, lastly, we tried to establish the level of influence that social networks may have in the school performance of the eighth-grade students.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLas redes sociales se usan con mucha frecuencia y pueden llegar a convertirse en adictivas; asimismo, los estudiantes son vulnerables de padecer dependencia a este tipo de interacción porque en este momento están formando su propia personalidad y son propensos a la influencia de otras personas, lo que puede tener graves consecuencias en su vida. Además, debemos tomar en consideración que el uso excesivo de las redes sociales tendrá consecuencias en su vida escolar, familiar y social. Por eso, en esta investigación se señalan algunas estrategias en una “PROPUESTA DE INTERVENCIÓN ORIENTADA AL USO ADECUADO DE LAS REDES SOCIALES”. Es necesario que los padres de familia tengan conocimiento sobre los síntomas y consecuencias de esta adicción para que puedan detectar si su hijo tiene problemas con el uso de las redes sociales o están presentando manifestaciones en esta problemática. El objetivo de esta investigación es establecer el nivel de adicción y las consecuencias por el uso de las redes sociales en estudiantes de octavo grado del Centro Educativo San Félix. Este estudio está enfocado en cinco aspectos, cada uno de los cuales se desprende de los objetivos de la investigación. En primer lugar, se buscó establecer y explicar el nivel de Adicción de los alumnos y las Consecuencias del mismo. Luego, se midió el nivel de las Alteraciones familiares y sociales que viven los estudiantes. También, el estudio permitió determinar hasta qué punto los estudiantes les dan Uso a las redes sociales. Y, por último, tratamos de establecer el nivel de influencia que pueden tener las redes sociales en el Rendimiento Escolar de los estudiantes de octavo grado.
