| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación tiene como finalidad identificar si existe una relación directa entre
el uso del anticonceptivo medroxiprogesterona de depósito y su incidencia en
aumento de peso y la presencia de las enfermedades cardiovasculares, en las
mujeres de edad fértil que haya o estén utilizando el anticonceptivo en la comunidad
de Las Tablas. Puesto que, a través del recetario es notable que las féminas de esta
población tienen por costumbre utilizar este tipo de anticonceptivos; de igual forma,
se aprecia el aumento del consumo de medicamentos cardiovasculares como
también de la apariencia física que, en su mayoría, se da sobre peso.
La población estará conformada por todas las mujeres adscritas en el programa de
planificación familiar de la ULAPS (unidad local de atención primaria) Juan Aguilar
Torres de Las Tablas, Bocas del Toro.
La información se tomará de los expedientes clínicos de las pacientes
seleccionadas que cumplan con el criterio de inclusión y que se encuentren en el
departamento de registros médicos de esta unidad ejecutora. Para que sea efectivo
este estudio, se confeccionará un consentimiento informado para cada paciente, el
cual se enviará en conjunto con el proyecto de investigación al comité de docencia
de la CSS para su respectiva aprobación; ya que se utilizará el historial clínico de
esta paciente y también se entrevistará a cada una de estas mujeres. La muestra
se tomará a través de un muestreo simple y se analizará utilizando el programa

| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research is to identify if there is a direct relationship between
