The Republic of Panama had to face several limitations, especially technological ones, to face the coronavirus pandemic. One of them has been to keep the national workforce on the move, and this has been achieved through the recognition of telework as a legal figure, but this change is here to stay, despite the abrupt appearance of Panamanian legal work, so it is necessary that we worry from the academy about the creation of a broad and inclusive regulatory framework, since it is a historical opportunity to close generational, ideological and technological gaps that still separate us from the globalized world. This legal review is intended to inform the reader about the main changes that the new teleworking law brings to the Panamanian labor scene, to provide some important considerations that should not be ignored when it is regulated by the National Assembly.es_ES
