| dc.description.abstract | Se estudió la composición taxonómica de la comunidad de macroinvertebrados acuáticos, el uso de estos organismos como bioindicadores de la calidad del agua y el efecto de la zona urbana sobre 14 sitios del río David y tributarios, de febrero a septiembre de 2018. En cada muestreo, se recolectaron especímenes del fondo rocoso, arenoso, hojarasca, superficie y columna de agua durante 60 minutos; los cuales fueron preservados e identificados mediante el uso de claves taxonómicas. Se midió pH. temperatura (°C). conductividad (US cm-1) y oxígeno disuelto (mg/L). Se recolectaron 4,133 individuos. agrupados en 13 órdenes (9 de ellos pertenecientes a la clase Insecta), 44 familias y 77 géneros (12 sin determinar). Los insectos fueron los más abundantes (93.49 %) y registraron el 83.11 % de los géneros: siendo ephemeropteros (46.46 %) hemípteros (21.24 %). trichopteros (13.57 %) y odonatos (6.19 %) los más abundantes. Se encontró una alta diversidad de macroinvertebrados acuáticos (H=2.97); la cual, fue alta en la estación seca (H'= 2.81) y media en la estación lluviosa (H'=2.65). El sitio ubicado en la Quebrada San Cristóbal (sector de San Pablo) registró una alta diversidad (H'= 2.91); mientras que en los 13 sitios restante fue media (entre 1.64 y 2.67). De acuerdo al indice Biótico BMWP'Pan, ocho sitios de muestreo reportaron aguas de calidad mala, contaminadas (S1, S2, S4, S5, 58, S9, S10 y S12) y otros seis, registraron aguas de calidad regular, eutróficas, moderadamente contaminadas. Septiembre fue el único mes donde se registró aguas de calidad buena o no alterada de manera sensible (BMWP /Pan= 102) y en los demás meses, la calidad del agua fue regular, eutróficas, moderadamente contaminadas (BMWP /Pan= 64-95). Los resultados obtenidos, evidencian un deterioro de la calidad del agua en el río David y tributarios. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The taxonomic composition of the community of aquatic macroinvertebrates, the use of these organisms as bioindicators of water quality and the effect of the urban area on 14 David river sites and tributaries were studied, from February to September 2018. In each sampling, specimens were collected from the rocky, sandy bottom, litter, surface and water column for 60 minutes: which were preserved and identified through the use of taxonomic keys. pH, temperature (°C). conductivity (uS cm-1) and dissolved oxygen (mg/L) were measured. 4, 133 individuals were collected, grouped into 13 orders (9 of them belonging to the Insecta class), 44 families and 77 genera (12 undetermined). The insects were the most abundant (93.49%) and recorded 83.11% of the genera; being ephemeropteros (46.46%) hemiptera (21.24%), trichoptera (13.57%) and odonates (6.19%) the most abundant. A high diversity of aquatic macroinvertebrates was found (H'= 2.97); which was high in the dry season (H'= 2.81) and medium in the rainy season (H' = 2.65). The site located in the Quebrada San Cristóbal (San Pablo sector) registered a high diversity (H' = 2.91); while in the remaining 13 sites it was average (between 1.64 and 2.67). According to the BMWP / Pan Biotic Index, eight sampling sites reported water of poor quality, polluted (S1, S2, S4, S5, S8, S9, S10 and S12) and another six, registered water of regular quality, eutrophic, moderately contaminated. September was the only month where water of good quality or not significantly altered (BMWP '/Pan = 102) and in the other months, the water quality was regular, eutrophic, moderately polluted (BMWP'/Pan = 64 -95). The results obtained show a deterioration in water quality in the lower sub-basin of the David River. | |
