The main objective of the research entitled Daily Life of Illiterate People is to interpret the experiences of illiterate people in their daily lives.This research was developed in urban and rural areas located specifically in the Corregimiento of Pedregal itself, it is located in the District of David, corresponding to the Province of Chiriquí, where the environment and scenario in which the participating social actors reside. This studio. This study has a qualitative approach, with its respective characteristics. It is also an exploratory, descriptive scope, the design is topical narrative and action research, since it allows to investigate the experiences lived by the participants, who are illiterate people, the sample used was for convenience, snowball and the information obtained was through participant observation, semi-structured interview, life story and group workshops. The results obtained show the experiences, emotions, socioeconomic risk factors and difficulties experienced by illiterate people, which was dissolved from the interaction with the researchers and participants of said study. In addition to the execution of literacy and basic mathematics training.La investigación tiene como objetivo general Indagar las vivencias de las personas iletradas en su diario vivir, la cual se desarrolló en un área urbana y rural del Corregimiento de Pedregal, ubicado en el Distrito de David, Provincia de Chiriquí, lugar donde se encuentra ubicado el ambiente y escenario social, de los actores sociales participantes. Este estudio posee un enfoque cualitativo, con sus respectivas características, el alcance es exploratorio, descriptivo, el diseño es narrativo tópico e investigación acción, pues permite identificar las experiencias vividas por los participantes, quienes son personas iletradas. La muestra utilizada fue por conveniencia, bola de nieve y la información obtenida fue mediante las técnicas entrevista abierta, observación participante, entrevista semiestructurada, historia de vida y talleres de capacitación planificados, con temas relacionados a la lectoescritura y matemáticas básicas. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian las vivencias experimentadas durante la etapa de la niñez, adolescencia, juventud y adultez, seguido de las emociones percibidas, los factores socioeconómicos confrontados al igual que las dificultades afrontadas por las personas iletradas, como también los conocimientos adquiridos durante el desarrollo de las capacitaciones de lectoescritura y matemáticas, información lograda a partir de la interacción con las investigadoras y participantes de este estudio.
